QotD: When you open your eyes underwater, do you ever worry that you'll drown?

I am flesh beneath His sea,
Pale mortal
Where I don’t belong.
His eye persuades the ripples,
Calls forth deep currents
To warm my numbing cold.
Whale song thrums,
Drums its way from head
To new-webbed feet
With dolphin descants.
I wave through brittle coral,
Safe, endangered, safe.
He peppers me with jellies;
Stung, I find new pleasure,
And He rolls me, buffets me.
I buffet back to hear Him laugh:
He is Master of storms.

One moment’s forgetfulness:
One open eye…

Neptune is gone
